Association A.R.A.M. Course for amateur musicians: http://cms.aram-poitou.com

  • From the 2nd to the 9th of August 2014: Course for Amateur Ensembles.

Trios, String quartets, Quintets are welcome to this course. The ensembles have each day a session of two hours, the rest of the day is dedicated to the rehearsals, reading sessions with the other course-participants, and the concerts played by the teachers in the little churches of the villages around. Lonely musicians should contact Guy Danel rapidly, describing their wishes, and he shall search partners from the same level for that week.
Teachers: Guy Danel, former cellist of the Danel quartet – Eric Robberecht, first violin of the Ensor Quartet and Jean-Marie Bardèche, pianist accompanist in the Conservatoire Supérieur de Lyon. They have as assistants Nicolas Hourt, pianist, and the members of the Quatuor Zerkalo.

  • From the 16th to the 23rd of August 2014: Course for amateur musicians and ensembles.

The musicians register separately, giving information about their level and their repertory wishes. Guy Danel will organize two ensembles for each musician. The morning is devoted to one of the group - a lesson and a rehearsal, the beginning of the afternoon to a secondary group, always led by one of the teachers who might play in the ensemble. Already formed Trios, String quartets, Quintets are also welcome. During their stay, the course participants could enjoy the concerts performed in the little churches in the neighbourhood.
Teachers: Juliette Danel – viola – and Guy Danel – cello, former members of the Quatuor Danel, Nicolas Hourt – pianist – and the Trio Spilliaert.

  • From the 9th to the 16th of August 2014: Master class for String Quartets:

Each year, the association accepts one or two amateur quartets, which will enjoy an everyday lesson, mostly with Guy Danel or Eric Robberecht. They may follow the lessons given by our teachers, Vaclav Remes, Josef Kluson and – possibly – Luigi Vecchioni – Quatuor Manfred.
